I made the cats a few interactive feeders. This one is only for biscuits, I do plan to make one for wet food too.
The idea with this feeder is to get them thinking. They have to problem solve how to get their food, and also stops them guzzling their food.
Cats haven't changed much from their wild ancestor, so they will have all their hunting instincts. This allows them to use those instincts, instead of walking to their bowl and getting the food as and when. This cuts boredom, and allows them to use their senses and brain.
It took Sebastian longer to figure it out than it did Tigger, but once they realised how to use it, they stopped complaining.
